System Specs

Its surprisingly hard to find a decently priced laptop with any mid-ranged graphics card. Even something weak like a mobile 2600 or 8600 would be great compared to what you can normally find.

System Specs

1280x800 + a modern dual core CPU = perfectly capable media laptop. This is the kind of upgrade i'm looking for, actually.

SIS chipset? Phail?

MXM is not as flexible as you think, as major issues such as what is the max TDP of the heatsink, and wattage that the system board can put out.
