Actually, it would work out ok for Physx. The card performs well enough. Oh and thank you hayder.master!

well a 1x slot would hamper performance, but an 8400GS was hardly a gaming card to begin with.

Physx would work better on a 1x slot than on a CPU, so its got a purpose there as well as really tiny systems.

Nice, gives me a half decent option for people with these new systems that have no pci-e x16, but want something better than what comes in pci.

He did it with Windows 7. Vista won't initialize multiple display drivers.

Vista no. XP yes.

For example:

That would work in Vista as it is not initializing multiple drivers. Well should anyway, ask nflesher87 if he got his 98GTX SLI+88GTS Physx to work properly.

So In XP NVidia does have driver and both the cards can co-exist? hmm interesting. Far Cry 2, Crysis - Physics?

Yup. As far as FC2 and Crysis is concerned, I cannot confirm if having a Physx enabled setup actually works tho with those games. You will need to wait for a reply or ask around.

EDIT: See above^^^^

Excellent! I had a feeling something will come up for X1 some day! If they include PhysX, I wonder if you can hack them so they can act like an X1-based co-processor for your ATI card?
