I dunno, just got a new Logitech game pad so I'm really awaiting something like this to test it on until Street Fighter 4 comes out. I just hope they don't mess it up and everything will work ok.

The animations are looking very natural, and that crowd is just awesome. Looks like it would really make the feel of the game exciting, but of course I'd have to pump up the res to see for sure. I haven't played b-ball games in a while, I may just check this one out......

It looks great! I've been stuck on NBA 2k4 for a long time now and I think it's time for an upgrade!

ATTENTION
Do not buy NBA 2K9 for the PC at this time. There is a large thread over at 2ksport filled with complaints of people who bought this game without a product code. You cannot install this game until you input the product code.

People in that forum are already screaming of class action lawsuit

This is not acceptable though.

I hope they do get sued. At least GSC Game World/Deep Silver recalled their game before it got sold. They are alot smaller than 2k as well so I think they are just lazy tards..

All I can tell anyone who googles this problem is email 2ksports at:
techsupport@2ksports.com. Explain the problem to them. It appears they are aware of the situation.

NBA 2K9 PC fi Product code FIX

The fix is now confirmed:
-place NBA 2K9 disc into cd/dvd-rom
-Force update steam: File, check for steam client updates
-Steam will indicate there is a update
-Once update is uploaded and installed it will reboot steam
-Upon restart it will locate your cd and start the install progress through steam
-It will appear as if it's uploading but it's actually installing from the HD

You should be done within a few minutes

i got the game up and running last night. it's absolutely amazing. it's the best sports game ever for the pc. it's worth every penny for $20. here are my system specs

amd am2 5000 at 3.2Ghz
4gigs ddr2
dfi lan party dark
vista 64bit
crossfire 4850

game settings are all in high and ultra high for player
1680x1050 res
vsync off
4x AA

avg. fps is 30. i will have to tone down my settings. i wish this game supports multi gpus. i love this game. i hope more people will buy this game to support 2k so that they'll bring more games out. i will post some screenshots when i get a chance.
