I was playing battlefield2, it all of a sudden starts shutting down, try to turn it back on, hear crackly sound... fuck.... I open it up, rearrange everything, another crackly noise and now when I press the button 3 times it turns on for like 1/1000th of a second, also, it stopped showing picture on the monitor, it acts like it's not even plugged in... :'(

Get an OCZ PowerStream or PC Power & Cooling. You won't regret it. What were the amperages on your old PSU?

Yeah, if the thing didn't light up or spin you wouldn't know it was on.

PFFFFFT Turns out it wasn't fried, but rather had the wrong voltage settings
Oh well, live and learn then get a better power supply ![]() EDIT: No, it was grounded also... Last edited by bikr692002; Dec 30, 2005 at 05:08 PM. |
