Strange problem w/ Vista & Samba

I've got a file server set up with some Samba shares on it. I'd been running XP and everything was peachy.

I just switched to Vista, and now, for some reason, Vista will disconnect from the network share after about 30 minutes. If I disconnect the drive and reconnect, I'm good for another 30 minutes.

And it's 30 minutes of accessing the share. If I'm streaming a movie from the share, I'm good for 30 min. If I copy a file, then 2 hours later, want to copy another file, it's fine. It's just continuous use that causes the problem.

Is there something in Vista that is causing this?

Samba is the Linux program that lets you create Windows Shares on a *nix computer.

Works pretty well. Has anyone had a problem like this with a NAS? They usually use Samba as well.

It works great for this. I tried setting up windows shares that my wife could access on her Mac, but that was a pain. Using Gentoo to just run the fileserver is a piece of cake, though.
