Good games my laptop can run
Anyone have any good games that dont take alot of power that my lappy can run? I have a Toshiba A-205 with a blazing fast integrated Intel GMA 945 and T5300 processor at 1.73ghz, but I do at least have 2gb of RAM at 532mhz!
![]() So unfortunately, Crysis is out. But other recommendations are welcome!

Minesweeper FTW !!
![]() Seriously, you should be able to run many of the older great games without too much problem. What kind of games are you into? FPS, RTS, RPG, etc....

Probably WoW, Starcraft, Solitare, Hearts, or something gpu easy.
Have you tried any demo's to see if your lappy can handle it? Maybe try Fear or Prey. Who knows maybe you could sneak in a light game from 2007.

WoW does work on it, but I just can't into it. My brother was hugely into it, I get annoyed with it, but w/e. I do have Starcraft on it and it runs fine, I'm looking for something more recent that doesn't take a load of processing power. CoD4 ran like crap, really choppy and ugly looking on low settings.
I like FPS, and RTS games, but it doesnt have to be that. Hell, I played Roller Coaster Tycoon like theres no tommorow for the longest time

Any older game (like 2+ years maybe) and a few later ones. If you like puzzle games check out this one called world of goo. I'm not gonna bother explaining it, just check it out.

Battle for wesnoth www.wesnoth.org/ is a turn based fantasy strategy game. Light as to run but fantastic. Free ware to download. I love rts and I really enjoyed this, spent hours playing at my mother-in-laws on the laptop (sure beats talking to her
)Have you tried BF1942 if you like fps. Great gameplay still, but does look dated compared to Cod4. Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is supposed to be very good strategy and best in series if you can find it. Tye

Cossacks II. A pretty realistic RTS about the Napoleonic war. It doesn't look half bad.

Those screenies look like those CG cutscenes in a History Channel show about 18th century warfareI forgot about Max Payne tho, I never played it when it first came out back in the day, may just be a time to finally give it a try.. Same thing about Tribes 2, it was a Mechwarrior type game right? Armored suits and all?

Mafia went pretty well with laptop gameplay--just make sure you got a mini-mouse. I do admit, the fan on the laptop (Systemax Pursuit 4110) went crazy when playing it. It ran perfectly swell though.

Try Sins Of A Solar Empire that is guaranteed to work at max settings. Also Company Of Heroes might work at low settings. HL2 if you haven't finished it, better yet, The Orange Box will work no problems.
