Interesting all-in-one.

But I wonder why they didnt use the nano? Much more powerful, and more power efficient, and therefore, would make a much better and more adaptable product if used here.

Nano is something new. Being industrial-grade demands tested technolgies, hence C7 / Eden. Not sure if Nano is built for 24x7-ish operation.

Yep. Sometimes industrial grade requires older tech with known micro-code fixes etc. and empirical "proof" of uptime.

However, IIRC nano is socket and pin compatible with C7, so perhaps 2009 will see version 2 of this kiosk device

The Eden (C3) is a truly foul underperformer for 2008. It sucked in 2005, and now (2008/9) it is terrible. A P3-800 BLOWS an Eden out of the water.

I dont think that Nano is any "less" of an operator than C3 or C7. Let's hope they implement it. Then this would be a GREAT little panel PC system.

hahah your crazy. Im talking games like emulators (NES) not crysis or UT. Things you could actually have time to play in a parking lot while waiting for someone.
