After Market Cooler on Saphire Non-Reference 4850

Hey, I've been wanting to get an HD 4850 for a while and have been watching the prices. Right now at Newegg, one can buy a Sapphire Non-reference for $150 + a $20 MIR. That is pretty hot. However, I don't care for that stock cooler and I have and want to use the Akasa Vortex Neo cooler.

The problem I see is that the Sapphire card has its VRM area moved up near the PCI bracket and I don't know if that will interfere with the cooler. Do any of you all have any experience with the combo? Or has anyone who has this card try using it without the VRM heatsink (in case I am unable to mount the Akasa with it on?

I suppose I could possibly dremel the cooler if I have trouble, but does anyone have any experience with this combo? The alternative is this awesome 4830 with 4+1 phase power for $15 cheaper, plus a copy of Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Which do you all think is better? I've read that this MSI 4830 can really overclock due to its high end power design (and definitely achieve performance of 4850 at stock), but this Sapphire 4850 looks kinda cheap and probably won't overclock much.

Edit: Mega eww, the rebate on the 4850 is through MyRebates411, whereas the MSI rebate is through MSI... Something else to consider if I want that $20 back.

How much you paying for the Akasa cooler? Might as well get the IceQ4 for about the same money in the end.

I already have the Akasa cooler. Sorry I didn't specify that.
