I haven't played it either, but I didn't really like 2, and I can't play old FPS and enjoy them unless the gameplay is really something unique, but only 98 cents, that's hard to pass up......

I wonder if this comes with HL source tho. I think that if you are gonna play it today, the source version is not needed but it really helps!

Well, I would get it except it won't let me register a new account. Figures, steam never works. I enter the stupid letters from the image and it tells me that they are incorrect. Every single time.

You're in luck then, there's a HL2 mod which has been in development for years called Black Mesa which uses the HL2 engine to redo HL1.
