Are you going to upgrade the cooler/ overclock. If so just get the cheepist one. If you are not get a factory overclocked card, with a nice cooler.

yea i would get it, it will definetively double your current FPS in games if not more than double in some games. idk how pounds work since i'm american but i don't think the overclocked version would be worth the 30-50% increase in price that i saw. Plus i don't think overclocking the HD 4850 would be needed for your case. get the cheapest one and enjoy
here's a comparison between 2 X1950 PRO's against an 8800GTS http://www.digital-daily.com/video/x...ire/index3.htm mind you that's the G80 version 8800GTS, and a HD 4850 outperforms that here's some more links to point to the HD 4850 as a good buy ![]() http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25182 it's hard to find any other links on your exact situations but that will be a nice upgrade for you

I'd go with the Sapphire one; much better cooling for only a few (quid?) more.
