NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce the Zero 2 Full Tower Steel Chassis that integrates a fully customizable cooling system. Adopting a similar extreme cooling approach to that of the original Zero chassis, Zero 2 offers a fully customizable cooling system with space for seven 120mm fans and one 80mm fan making it a phenomenal option for users that run Multi GPU systems. This aggressive cooling system combined with other great features like screwless installation for HDD devices, top mounted USB, and Intel HD Audio and AC’97 Audio capability make Zero 2 one of the most compelling case options on the market for the PC Enthusiast and Gamer.
![]() “The original Zero was a tremendous success for NZXT due to its unique, customizable cooling setup,” said Johnny Hou, Chief Designer at NZXT. “The Zero 2 builds off of its predecessor’s success and provides truly phenomenal value for gamers everywhere priced under $100.” Retailing for $99.99 the new Zero 2 is available now. What a crock of shit. That is not a "New" case.
It's exactly the same as the original Zero(and I own the original.). All they did was remove the front polished steel bezel and replaced is with a painted bezel, re-designed the front bezel LED's, removed the polished steel interior and replaced it with the cheaper gray painted one, and removed the PSU bar. Then just gave it a cheaper price tag. They should of just removed all the annoying crap on it like: - remove the silly 4x 120MM fan side panel; replace with it with a window, regular side panel, or a single 250mm fan. - remove the bottom mounted 80mm fan and it's filter; it's useless. - replace the fixed hard drive cage with a removable one. - remove the stupid 80mm fan blowhole; it's unusable if you choose to use a large PSU or a 92mm fan with 80mm frame. - Replace the included PSU with the sentry; works very well with the smoked glass on top. - Bore some holes for a easy watercooling project (there's space next the the top 120mm exhaust fan) and line them with rubber so it isn't sharp. - Re-loacte the front audio/usb/firewire again (on the original it's on the bottom-side right) so it's either on top-side on the left or top-side on the right. - Then polish the interior again - Lastly, give it a $100-$150 price tag and then call it "Zero 2". This "New" case is more like "Zero 1.25". Nothing's changed hardly.
