Anyone seen any good deals on the 980x? I have the Classified and without doing a hard mod I can't do a Xeon, so I am stuck doing the 980x. The best I have seen was Fry's deal for $980, but I was hoping to find a better deal.

thanks but i am looking for a Fusion block so i can still use the heatpipes/stock cooling. With the NB max i can just remove the fins on the stock NB heatsink and put the block there that helps with NB and mosfet cooling

Some of the later batches do that, not surprising at all. The earlier batch D0's seem to be a lot better.

qft, every time you see someone selling a 920 for $240ish that does 4.0GHz at stock-1.3V you're looking at a good chip at a great price.
