Finals!!!

Just had my Calculus 3 final today and I'm so releived it's over. I studied so much over the weekend and pray I did well enough to get a B.

Anyone else taking finals this week or next? If so drop your course name and your expected grade!

Cinematography 1 last week. I expect a 98% or higher.
Funny story attached to that actually. Night before the exam I got diarrhea some how and since I was stuck on the toilet all night shitting anyway I decided to make good use of the textbook and my notes and crammed until 2AM when my bowels decided to relax enough to me to sleep.

Between now and next Monday I have:

Mechanisms of Pathogenesis (not a final)
Comparative Vertebrate Morphology Lab (Final)
Organic Chemistry (Final)
General Genetics (Final)
Comparative Vertebrate Morphology Lecture (final)
Mechanisms of Pathogenesis (Final)
Evolutionary Biology (Final)

College is feeling oh so much like a massive mistake right now.

Can't take 2-3 classes a semester if I want to graduate in a reasonable amount of time. 12 credit hours is considered full-time enrollment and this is only 16 credit hours.

Whats you major? Sounds like fun. I've heard the Organic Chem labs are a bear to work out.

Biology. The only class in there that I would consider fun is mechanisms of pathogenesis, but it's a beast. Evolutionary Biology is good, but it's only because I have an excellent professor, I hear the other one is not so great. You heard right, organic chemistry lab is just awful unless you love chemistry. 2-3 hours of pre-lab work every week, I never get the expected yields, and one of my experiments exploded; I still got an A but it's a frustrating experience. Class average for the last test for Organic Chemistry lecture was a 49%...... bad professor even her teaching assistants were upset by the test she made.

Here is a basic idea of what I'm working through right now if anyone is interested. I have to fill in a lot of the gaps in the information there though, because it's not entirely complete enough for the exam.

Polaris,

It sounds like you have all of us beat. I hope you make it through this week! Are you a Grad student or just in your senior year?

Btw I stumbled upon this:

Thanks, I wish everyone else good luck on their finals too. This is never an easy time of year and unfortunately it comes twice per year.

I'm just a senior, no grad school yet. I've seen the giantmicrobes website before, it's great, I've considered buying something before.
