e0 is just a new revision. It could work any number of ways. Hopefully you got a good one and it should overclock well since e0 are more energy efficient.

I've heard that it can reach 4ghz easily with air?

I couldn't go more then 3.8ghz on the C0 on air..

my CO does 4 gigs and beyond

If it's more energy efficient, then I believe it would be cooler running, so 'should' be able to clock higher.

But don't take my word for it, other people here know better than I do :)

*Also, I think it depends if you got a 'good' one or not. It would seem some overclock better than others.

My E8400 E0 Does 4.65GHzish "CPU-Z" stable, and around 4.4GHz Intelburntest stable. So i bet the E0 rev is a better clocker overall.

@elixxx: stock ?????

My E8600 E0 does 4.95ghz benchable on air.

I've owned 4 e8xxx chips over the last few months, 2 e8400's (1 EO and 1 CO), a e8500 EO and an e8600 EO. I have to say my very first CO was the best of the bunch, reaching 4.65 prime stable. None of my EO's would do that.
