That's the 128bit version of the Pro right? Sorry mate, but if that's the case you're out of luck, should have spent some $30 more on the 256bit version.
If it is the 256bit version, here's a guide on how to flash it to XT:

http://www.rojakpot.com/(r3u3h1551nrhtz554rbj4r55)/default.aspx?location=3&var1=92&var2=0

As for the benefits, you get about 5-7% increase in performance compared to an 9800Pro at XT clock. BUT you also must replace stock cooling if you don't want to fry your core, Pro cooler simply isn't up to the task. Good luck.

You can flash a 128 MB 9800 Pro to a 128MB 9800 "XT". I'm going to do it next week. See this arcticle:

http://www.rojakpot.com/showarticle....rtno=92&pgno=0

Mainly this page on the 128 MB 9800 Pro:

http://www.rojakpot.com/showarticle....tno=92&pgno=13

It comes down to whether you have the R350 core which came with the first 128 MB 9800 Pro's or the R360 that was placed in later models, probably because they had an excess of those and a lack of 350's, which were "detuned" to the performance of a 9800 Pro. Most 9800 Pros made lately, including mine, have a 360.

Yes, but the "Atlantis" 9800Pro is a 128bit card, you cannot flash it to XT, even if it has the R360 core, sapphire really screwed ppl when they released that card.

No it isn't, the Atlantis is just Sapphire's name for the card... check with ATI-tool whether it's 128 or 256bit

Sapphire Technology, one of the world’s largest makers of graphics cards, today said it may replace certain graphics cards acquired by mistake. The move was made amid a number of enthusiasts said they would boycott Sapphire’s products because of alleged inadequate marketing.

“Since the roll-out of the Sapphire 128-bit version of RADEON 9800 PRO core into the channel it has been brought to our attention that this model is being met with some confusion and for this we would like to extend our sincere apologies. Keeping with our level of interaction within the community, Sapphire is moving to alleviate said confusion by renaming the 128-bit version to the Sapphire RADEON 9800 ATLANTIS and we are instructing each of our retail partners to clearly and prominently list the 128-bit memory specification. Further to this end, the Sapphire RADEON 9800 ATLANTIS 128-bit products boxes will now be labeled with an oversized 128-bit sticker on the boxes face as well,” Sapphire Technology said.

Sapphire Technology’s ATLANTIS RADEON 9800 PRO “128-bit Edition” started to emerge for sale in late May. The graphics cards features fully-fledged RADEON 9800 PRO graphics processor with 8 rendering pipelines, but is based on PCB similar to that of RADEON 9500 PRO – with 128-bit memory bus for 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory.
According to that press release, if he bought the Atlantis 9800Pro after May, he got the 128bit version.... He should try using Atitool to be sure though, or looking at the PCB, if the RAM modules have an "I" arrangement, then it's the 128bit version, if the modules have an "L" arrangement then it's the 256bit version.
