I read about this at XtremeSystem forum. Seems to not really fix anything. If anything, people were reporting incorrect clock readings.

Aoc

AOD always screws with my system and I run a Spyder platform.... I think that people who have success with AOD are either on drugs or live in an alternate reality because I have tried AOD with two different rigs and no-go...no matter what setting I set, it locks up and I have to just do all my work through the BIOS and that seems to be more stable that way.

I'm still running 2.1.2 on my Spider and it seems to work very well with my 9850 and Asus M3A79-T MB.

Small fixes but I'm updating anyway. Hopefully something goes better now with new bios and AOD. Thanks for the heads up Polarman!

This version goes nuts and reported CPU clocks x2, so I got 6,4GHz reported speed. I tried reinstall it with default settings from bios. Then it reported all speeds correctly but when I went to bios and changed my previous overclocks, it went crazy once again and showed about 200-300MHz too much. For me it was so annoying that I switched back to 2.1.4

2.1.5 doesnt work on my rig. (I know I have a 770 board ) It wont launch. Tried file from TPU and AMD Game, neiter is a go. Went back to 2.1.4. I never had full control with any AOD on my 770 board, but I still have it and like it.

I havent used AOD in a long time because problems, but I decided to try this the day it was released. And it just locked in the stress test for my CPU while loading. Comp would run fine except my CPU was at 100% load so I would have to restart it then uninstall it.

AOD always gives me troubles. I figure if I need to mess with anything I will just do it through the BIOS its easier and doesnt give you false expectations such as being stable and or working properly. Besides if I want to just watch my computer lock up over and over I will just touch something in the case while I have it on.
