Intel to Launch Energy Efficient Core 2 Quads on January 18th
Looks like Intel is planning to launch 65w TDP energy-saving quad cores under the Core 2 Quad Qxxxxe series:

Eligible for custom title

... and for silent desktops. I would gladly swap my Q6600 for one of these EXCEPT for the 1333FSB. I want 800 or 1066 FSB to allow for easy OC, esp. my "older" s775/AGP i865 based systems that have a FSB300 (1200) max limit.
WAIT! WTF is that? 5MB and 4MB cache? Ach... meh! I note these versions are Qxxxxs. "S" for Sh1t? |
