Is this normal?

I have the q6600 cpu (man it kicks ass) and I wanted to know if this was normal on CPU-Z(looking at core speed)

1.49 is the latest, and is the one you got on SS. Check dark2099's tip about the bios setting.

Speedstep is on like dark said.

Go to the bois and look in processor technology if your bios has that.

C1E and EIST in the bios under the CPU settings. no real need tho, I run my E7200 at 4.1GHz with it active.

well I turned it off and it back to normal, but does it actually do something else other than lower the multi and voltage to save power? or can I just turn it back on or something?

EDIT: Well looks like having it off gives me a lot more fps(8-10) in games and having it on gives me less about 8-10 fps less and iunno I dont THINK voltage is a problem, so I guess Ill leave it off untill I want to OC or are you suppose to leave it off when you OC?

The FSB isn't usually accurate to the whole digit: when I have my E5200 FSB set at 290, it should give me 3.625 GHz, but usually gives ~3.628 GHz, as the FSB is always .2 - .5 off.
I've also found that disabling speedstep increases stability while overclocking, and recommend you do as well.
