horrible combat in this game and it has a crap storyline, also there are sections where combat is forced and you cannot simply run away

average game with a good concept also has bland visuals after a while of whoa this looks good that quickly wears off

Assassin's Creed was a fun game. That is if you just like to run around and Assassinate people. they really needed to make the missions cooler and get rid of the future concept. I had the most fun killing random people then getting chased over the tops of the city. Unfortuneatly you can only have so much fun doing this until it gets old.

They really had a chance to make some great chase scenes, but they failed to deliver.

Anyways back on subject. I played the demo on PS3, was fun. But I don't think it would be fun to keep playing, just fun to mess around on for 5 - 10min at a time.

If I was going to compare this game to Assassins Creed I would give the nod for Assassins Creed. This is because I really enjoyed the story it told. Each mission advanced the story line and had you wondering what was going on.

yeah ive got the game on 360 so essentially its the same apart from physx

there is forced combat at least 3 times i can remember, you have to shoot and disarm in those parts

when you get to the bit you will know what im talking about

other than the crap combat and fact you die after 2 punches and a single bullet the free running sections are okay not amazing but fun

i got it in the UK gamestation sale it was like £20 or summit but id have to say even with the repetitive missions in assassins creed its so cheap now its a better buy than mirrors edge, assassins creed is just press a button and the jump or dive happens there is no skill to it so mirrors edge has the "edge" in that department

if you get it cheap on pc i guess its worth a try otherwise get it from a mate or something

man, i just got this game and am playing it on my brothers computer until my cpu gets back from rma, so i load up install and the game plays smooth for like 1 minute(about 50fps on high with 2XAA) and it goes straight to 2 fps randomly with physx on, anyone know what the problem could be.

I hear theres a bug with cuda and this game that causes the vram to drop to nothing, do i have to disable it in the drivers and set it to off in the options.

They've already released a patch and a new version of PhysX. I liked the gameplay of the game. The fighting was not bad if you were good enough at it, but I've never had to fight in this game. I have not once resorted to violence. All you need to do is map your path correctly. PhysX is a constant 60fps with my single gtx280 x16AA, highest settings. This game is more pleasing to me because it reminds me of basic color classes in school, but the cut scenes need to be less like the e-surance commercial and more suited for gamers.

Weird. It fits in my Antec 300, really small case!

How long is this game tho? If its a good 10 hours I might go and get it.

its one of those crappy oem cases from compaq, the 9600GSO from xfx which is shortened barely fits

i had it for 360 and beat it, if you run through it you can probably finish it in like 4 hours

I'm trying to decide if this game is worth the money or not. I'm saving for a PII 940 so spending money on a game right now is kinda out of the question. I'm not a pirating fella either, I support good games. They need to release a demo so I can decide for myself. I may have to get my own "demo" and decide if its worth purchasing. Why release demo's for PS3 and 360 but not PC?

OMG, that would drive me insane. Having a GTX280 sitting right next to me and then looking at my case and knowing it won't fit inside.

KainXS Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 4,701 (2.27/day) Thanks: 186 Thanked 466 Times in 383 Posts System Specs	i can't wait to try it with my 280, i got the game running by updating physx like binge said, but when i turn physx off on his gso, the performance is terrible, it goes from like 50 to 1 fps, and i think its the physx causing it, but when its on it works nicely with all on high and 4aa. I wish i could use my 280 now but it won't fit in his case.
