game problems

ive been noticing on my monitor when i play games lately i get lil black boxes or dots all over my screen. and now when i start playing dow2 like purple round things will blotch in and out of the screen not continously but just sparatically, could it be my monitor which is a 32 inch sharp cant keep up with the refresh rate?

too add on that im pretty sure its not the video card..well i hope its not, it plays crysis just fine for hours on end....without any crashes and itll play dow2 with no lag but with those weird pop ups...im out of ideas..ive tried drivers..and anything you can name

Hmm seems like a video card error..perhaps a type of artifacting? I use a sharp 32in HD as my
Monitor and have never had problems like that.

i havent done any ocing, but im gonna pop in my 3870 toxic and see what happens...if its the card its going back.

uuuh where would i check that...its lc-32sb240....now apparently it wont recog my 3870..blarg!!!

Similar monitor to mine so I guess its the same problem I have. Its because the monitor isn't hot enough it causes it to kind of ghost images. I tried pushing the refresh rate to 60 and it doesn't get rid of it. I tried my card on another monitor and it was fine.

When you say the 3870 wasn't recognised did you uninstall the driver before swapping cards?

yeah i fixed it....3870 same resoltuion same everything not blotches or pops up piurple blobs..ill be back later tonight...will look back for some help thanks guyz
