Soundblaster x-fi audio and F.e.a.r

I just bought soundblaster x-fi audio sound card and im having an issue with F.E.A.R. - Extraction Point add on.
Each time i jump in the game there is this annoying beep that lasts about 1 second. The beep sound is slightly distorted.
This problem does not appear in first original F.E.A.R.
I have tried to alter in game menus without success and i have also changed settings in creative audio console. Im kinda new with audio cards so is there something i should know?

Did you download the latest drivers from Creative for your sound card?

Yes i downloaded latest drivers. I have windows xp x64.

If you use the card in the " entertaining Mode " , try to disable EAX effects .
Its not the standard solution , but try it , and report back.

Is the game patched with any update pack ?

I would try disabling any fetures (EAX, X-Fi CMSS 3D, X-Fi Crystalizer). Though im not familiar with real X-Fi cards. Just my two cents.

I have tried to disable effects but it does not seem to help. The game is patched to 108.

Basically XFi basic modes does not effect gaming .

In my setup i have

EAX effects = disabled
X-Fi CMSS 3D = enable .. as i have quad speakers
X-Fi Crystalizer = disabled , my mp3 files are high quality .
EQ = always on .

The problem could be the game it self , i had not patched version.

I have play the same game with XP sp3, and never had a problem.

Ok i have another idea .. try to cut down hardware acceleration.
Control panel --> Sound & audio device ---> audio --> default device -->advanced -->performance --> hardware acceleration .

Start dropping the acceleration , step by step , and check for improvement.
If its a driver issue , its possible to cure it .

What settings do you have enabled on the fear menu ? Can you upload a screenshot ? Try disabling the features like eax and hardware mixing.

I solved the problem simply by buing a new sound card. Now i dont have any problems at all.

why did you buy the xtreme audio, that card is just a modified sound blaster live 24bit, I mean, you would've been better off buying the 24bit for like 5 bucks
