ASUS 3850x2 or 9800GT

ASUS 3850x2 the price of 9800GT in my country what would be better choice 3850x2 pr 9800GT ?

i think the 3850x2 would be quicker ,its dual core and the 9800 gt is just an 8800 gt with a new name. but i may be wrong

System Specs

HD3850X2 for pure-performance, 9800 GT for performance /watt. Not all applications/games/benchmarks support CrossFire, and so the performance will suffer. I will pick 9800GT for the performance consistency throughout all apps, energy efficiency, CUDA.

Why not get a 4830? They're as good as 9800GTs but are usually cheaper, at least in Finland and at Newegg

Yes I did get one 4830 and it died after 3 min of gaming last night. And I had 9800GT I sold it.
I don`t know what to get. 4830 it is quite appealing reading w1zzards review of powercolor and AMD reference boards he was getting 740 core from both but every other review I read most of them top at 660-700. And here in my country there are only those own designs shorter ones that don`t OC like the reference one.
