Thumbs down OCZ EL 4800 Platinum - Good choice?

Sup, I need some advice from you guys, I have 1gb of OCZ EL 4200 Platinum, but i'm having some problems with this ram and now I'll upgrade to Ocz EL 4800 Platinum (not elite edition). Is this memory good or I'll loose performance because they are 2.5-4-4-10 (DDR600)? With 3200 Platinum Rev.2 will I have more performance?

Wich Ocz memory you recomend to me?

thanks for the help.

I have a DFI nf4 ultra-d and 3200+ winchester.

As long as your computer can support those timings and overclock the memory to 600MHz from 400MHz I see no problems. If you put it in and your computer does not support the lower timings or higher speeds it will simply default to whatever it can support.

Sup, I have one more question: Which ram is better for the game and will give me more performance in games? Rev.2. (2-2-2-5@200Mhz) or 4800 Platinum (2.5-4-4-10@300Mhz)??

thanks!

I am selling my OCZ EL Platinum 1Gb DDR400 2.2.2.5 as it will only run 235Mhz @ 3.3.3.6 2.85v. And am buying some DDR500 3.3.3.7 to get better gaming performance and a better overclock. Lower the HTT and increase the RAM speed, and you will get more bandwidth.

My advice? Buy the highest speed, lowest latentcy you can, then OC to your hearts content. I am impressed by OCZ overall though.
