Nintendo DS Lite details
There were rumors of a new Nintendo DS a while back, but Nintendo denied any new portable console, as the current DS is selling quite well. But now it is certain, that there will be a new, redesigned DS - called the Nintendo DS Lite - to be released in Japan on the 2nd of March. The unit is smaller (133 x 73,9 x 21,5 mm) and weighs 57 grams less than the original. The screen brightness has been increased as well.

The DS is already uncomfortable to hold, making it into an even tinier brick wont help.
