Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 drives failing

http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/...200-11-failing

I like WD Raptors , but if there is a competition against them , its better to be, well made.

But its always good to know... I mean if I was about to buy one... (which I actually might've before seeing this) I wouldn't be searching the whole forum for a HD to see if it has a problem

I been had one and says my Barracuda isn't affected(from my serial number)

Only people who bought one recently should worry. And i also have a WD Caviar and would use that as backup if something goes wrong.
