Weird LCD problem (2493hm)
I use a samsung syncmaster 2493hm, and if I don't turn the monitor on before the PC, it will never detect the digital signal. Unless I plug and unplug the DVI cable.
I've owns other samsungs before, and this never happened. I could just turn on the monitor before the PC everytime, but I am still very curious as to why this is happening.

thats actually normal behaviour on digital screens. drivers/OS would affect that more.
Even on analogue screens, windows would just resort to a generic display driver, if the screen wasnt on as the system powered up.
