I havent read any review of these sticks but they seem like exellent sticks to me.. in the future check out TPU review database before buying stuff so you spare you negative surprises.. also you can ask here before purchasing stuff.. at least thats what i am doing and often my final purchase it very different from what i initally though to buy

yeah i thought about it, i don't really care to much to oc them too much but i figured they would suffice at their rating to get me the right amount of mem for x64 windows 7 or vista

oh thank god, i got my patriot 2x1gig ddr2 1150 that's served me well, hangs out well over 1200 if i want, but i need 4 gigs and if i lose a few frames for a 64bit os, so be it. i'm not really all that worried, my gpu's are the new bottlenec, my 8800's are nice and play practically everything i throw at it just fine, but i want 3 285's or something.

These sticks specifically aren't worth the price premium over ocz reaper or corsair dominator. I find that g.skill are very closely binned to their settings, which doesn't allow for generous overclocks

i didn't intend to oc them, i just need more mem, my patriot does the overclocking.i hear ya though, i don't see much in the way of reviews for oc'ing but i'm not worried, as long as it hits 1066 i'm good.

they are definitively cheaper alternatives for about the same performance... I'm busy atm, but I'll definitely show them to you...

They are decent, but 2.1V seems like a bit too much. I hope there is some OC room left there. Before I went with i7/DDR3 I went through at least half a dozen different 4GB DDR2 kits. I've found that lower voltage AND lower latency kits are the best. I've owned two different Dominator kits and a G.Skill Pi Black kit and I must say the G.Skill Pi Black kit was the best of them all. (4-4-4-12 @ 1.8V with some healthy OC room).

OMG i love this memory. i post benches later but it posts at 1200 5,5,5,15 at stock voltes 2.1v. this is by far the best 4 gig kit i've ever owned. well the only as well, but this stuff performs equal to my ddr2 1150 for half the price i payed for it and twice the capacity. i didn't even have to clear cmos or worry about voltages, this is def worth what i payed for it.

all memory is good memory to me. I had some dell memory that stocked at 800MHz6-6-6-18 1.85v and I had it running at 5-5-5-15 817MHz at 1.95v I believe. My Geil black dragon memory runs at 960MHz 5-5-5-15 2.1v stable all day, which is the highest I've been able to push it, but that's due to processor limitations anyway.
