Windows XP system requirements changed

Winhistory.de didn't quite agree with Windows Xp's system requirements and tested what exactly is needed to run Windows XP. Using nLite and state of the art hardware they found out Microsoft is quite exaggerating and your old PC will do just fine. Apparantly the only problem is actually installing it, though once installed it will run on any Pentium based processor with a minimum of 20Mb of RAM.
So instead of throwing your old hardware away, read their article.

but the entire PC industry is set up to keep us buying new bits.. says a guy who has only just stopped useing win98se as his main operrating system.. he he

it will be long time afore vista come anywhere near my machine.. and strangely enough the first thing i do with a new operating system is to go thru it and make it as like the old one as i can.. my current XP pro looks just like my old win95 looked years ago.. he he he

ms gives me something new and i try and turn it into the old.. weird.. ???
