Laptop for graphic design and web.
My wife's 5yr old dell is slow and outdated, it's time to step up to something newer and faster. Off the bat I would like to say that money is a concern with the current economic downturns but it's a necessary purchase. That being said I would like some input for this new purchase, I do not know the laptop market or exactly what hardware will be the best fit for GD and web design.
-15.6" monitor preferred (Has a 17" wide now and doesn't like the weight of it when going mobile" -what kind of video card should be necessary? -4gb ram minimum Running mostly Photoshop, illustrator and dreamweaver... Am I best to build my own from dell again or would there be a prebuilt good to go. Budget would be <$1000 and preferred <$800. Any help would be appreciated. |

The N10 is way to small of screen, it will have to be a 15" or 15.6".
After a bit of reading up what would the benefits be of a P8400 vs T3400 (T series in general?) Seems like the P8400 with 3mb L2 cache would be a better choice? |
