System Specs

Cheap Laptop 150ish(including shipping)

I need a cheap, old laptop. Nothing fancy something like an AMD or Pentium 4 mobile 1Ghz+
512mb ram, 20-80GB HDD, anything with-in those specs. Im giving it to my dad to use and possibly take on trips, he only uses very basic internet, e-mail checking and news.

Please no laptops with dead batteries it needs to be moblie, and decent condition too.

Will pay up to $200 if its a really good spec laptop.

Will pay with paypal, i know someone has one they wanna get rid off

The Atom aren't that slow. They everyday tasks very fine. My netbook is faster than any old, cheap P4 based Laptop that I have used.

I would say that the atom 230 would stomp the P4, clock by clock the P4 would get stomped pretty bad, but since P4s got up to the upper 3 GHz range, that would probably make it faster slightly, but much more power hungry. I just cant wait for a netbook with 230.
