Is the bridge properly connected?
Did you enable SLI in the control panel?

+1 for above... and if your psu is old enough, that could be the problem?
you have latest drivers? did your computer detect the second 260?

also try each card separatly, there could be something wrong with the second card causing instability.

check drivers. there is a guid around here somewhere on how to remove drivers, but in short, uninstall both cards via device manager, unistall software via programs and features, delete nvidia folder from c:/nvidia. restart windows into safe mode, run driver cleaner, or driver sweeper(i prefer this over the prior). restart install drivers, restart again update directx and enable physx/sli.

if that doesn't work check for a faulty pci express slot, if you're board allows boot with one card in second slot and try a game and check for crashes.

if it's the psu-i would suggest for the gtx260's in sli a 700 watt or higher to be safe. preferably from a respectable brand ocz/bfg/corsair/pcp&c/coolermaster.

if none of this works the last resort i would say is try the cards in another rig, and very last reinstall windows.

some odd issue's that don't fit these descriptions are

heat-check card/cards, chipset/ southbridge(if there is one) and cpu

voltages-if you're oc perhaps the chipset/cpu/ram can't handle the extra card and is crashing

spyware-not sure if this could be an issue or not but it's always good to make sure not errors exist.

i hope i was able to help, keep us posted, i'll keep checking back but i'm at work right now so this is all i can come up with.

Sounds like you dont have enough amps on the 12V or if CPU is overclocked it is taxing the power supply too much.

After looking around its OEM is CompuCase/HEC. TBH, not a good OEM at all, I'd look into a brand name, a Corsair 600W would treat you very very well.
