http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/...roductId=29771

As the heading says you get a WD green power drive for £56 thats a steal, wish i could afford one but i got other parts to buy.

DAMN! I want one from them, but I'm in the US. That's just over $80 USD, and I've been trying to find one for around there for a while with no avail. Too bad shipping to the US is kinda pricey

Edit: Don't the greenpower drives have a 16MB cache?

Edit edit: These must be the older versions. They're clearing stock for the AACS and EADS drives.

I have the same drive. Its a good drive and i haven't had any problems with it.

Any point in hooking two of these up to go RAID? lol

shipping is killer but sometimes in the UK it ends up being cheaper for me to buy second hand us like my graphics card after i sold my 8800gt it only costed my £60 to upgrade from paulieg

going from Uk to US is killer tho the pound is shitty right now 1 sterling pound = 1.45 us dollars

meh, that's ex VAT, it's £65 inc vat, then about £73 with shipping. you can get a much better 1tb drive for that, this only has 8mb cache and is 5400rpm so not the best performer, although it is probably pretty quiet and low power.

Maybe I will
Didn't mean to be an arse, I just know from past experience from dealing with aria about the shipping, and how they always put the ex vat prices in big letters so you think it's a better deal than it is. Haven't had to return anything to them yet, but when I have ordered from them they have been ok. They do have some very good deals sometimes.
