2 gigs of corsair ram xms version

would this motherbaord be good and a lot faster

For sure that asus should be a lot faster, you will notice it too.

Just one note though, doesnt support SLI.

If you could strtch your buget a little i would go for
Asus A8N SLI PCI-E (Socket 939) MOBO

little more room for expansion
