Security Camera setup
I am extremely new to setting up a security camera but I was wondering if anyone had a specific site they used that explained how and what parts are necessary to set one up where the PC retained the video on the hdd? I will only have 2 cameras and would like it to be as simple and cost effective as possible. If I have not provided enough info please let me know and I will do my best to answer.

What you need is camera (what you already have), capture card, and surveillance software.
For software, I recommend Active Webcam for Windows, or Zoneminder for Linux(requires a particular capture card). |
