Nvidia is confusing me.

I thought I had it down. What is the difference between the 275 and 285/280?

285 is a minor revision of the 280, 275 was just a panic release by NV to compete with the 4890 in price/performance, and whats weird is 2 4890s in crossfire compete with the 295 and the 295 is basically 2 boards with a bridge chip.

Look, before asking time-wasting questions, why don't you just do a little tiny bit of research?

TPU (among all the other hardware sites) has just reviewed the 275 right here and includes all the tech specs that you could wish for on that card and the others you're wondering about. Heck, the review is still on the TPU home page at the top

Some people like a short and sweet answer, with little legwork involved. Unfortunately, lazy people upgrade their PCs too.

Performance-wise at stock speeds (slowest to fastest)
260 -> 275 = 280 -> 285

Yeah, how true lol.

I really like my new Zotac GTX 285. It really beats the pants off my 4870 512MB at very high settings, as I said on a recent thread. It even came with a copy of Race Driver: GRID, which I've been wanting. My 4870 is going on eBay...
