Looking for a decent video converter

Hey guys, playing with my iPod touch and I have all the episodes of The Big Bang Theory on my computer, which I want on my iPod.

I need a video converter that converts to MPEG-4

The files I have are all in AVI but I don't think that matters.

If anyone has anything I'd appreciate it!

I'm sorry?

Ok, i'll search it? lol Thanks.

I tried Free Zune Vid Converter, but when I converted it to MPEG-4 and tried to drag it to video's on my iTunes it said it won't play on this iPod.
But I have 4 movies in MPEG 4 format on there already.

hmm.

I second this.
Handbrake is what I use for converting videos for my ipod touch (gen2) and it works brilliantly. Free too, so what more could you want

Hi there,
I'm using this program called Prism, since I've got my iPod video a couple of years ago.
It's very fast, compared to several other programs I've tried. You can try it here:

Hey there bud, I've used handbrake and from what I remember handbrake is good for converting a dvd folder i.e. into mp4 files, there's a little program called WinFF which is really good if you are looking to queue a couple of files to convert.

First add your files, then pick convert to ipod and w/e format you want.

BTW if you are using vista make sure you run as administrator otherwise it wont be able to write to the output directory.

I have had a ton of success using Any Video Converter. Give it a try.

I also use Handbrake on my Macbook Pro. Very handy tool.
