Need help ASAP Asus M2V-MX

Just got some new RAM for my GF's comp. She was running 2x1GB sticks of G.Skill DDR2 800. I pulled them out tossed in the new sticks of 2x2GB G.Skill DDR2 800 and fired it up.

Nothing happens, monitor just stays asleep. So I reset the bios and same result. Pulled the mobo battery, pulled the power cord and went and got some lunch. Came back and nothing. Pulled everything out of the case, pulled the ram out, dropped in an old basic 3650.

So now I'm sitting with no ram, no hdd, a processor, a basic videocard, and a PSU. Reset the bios once more... and same result, absolutely nothing!

I am lost, even tried using 1 stick of the 2GB didn't work, tossed in her old ram (both sticks) didn't work, only used one of the old ram, that didn't work. This needs to get fixed and quick or I'm going to have to splurge and pick up a new mobo or something. And even that I'd rather not since it's the weekend soonest it could get here is like wensday or thursday and by that time she may well have killed me.

Fixed now, gave it a while just letting it sit on and not post, turned it off then turned it back on... and it booted? Oh well works now.

Panic attack is not good. You will go nowhere.

So did u put back the new ram and it still booted or just quitely tucked her back under the desk?

Wasn't really a panic attack, still makes no sense. It just decided to boot so meh guess I just leave it, she's playing on it right now. But I think I might tuck her under my desk for a bit

Well still having some issues it turns out. I guess I can't just wish them away and forget about it randomly working.

It's been freezing up sometimes, or sometimes when we turn it on it does nothing. I then have to clear the CMOS and fire it back up where it says that overclocking has failed. When nothing on her comp is OC'd. I load default values and it works until the next time it freezes.
