That cooler is Compatible with your CPU as it's an AM2+ Part, dont mind the PWM as that is just the same cooler you have just with a Fan that can utilize Pulse Width Modulation (Keep overall Noise down i guess)

If you can you should get the Xigmatek S1284, the best HS on the market IMO. The thing is a freakin beast, using it with my PII 720, the HS doesn't even get warm to the touch when it's under load.

Yeah you should be able to, although it depends on your current clocks. I have that same VGA HS and same video card and mine idles at 34-35c and under load it only gets to about 42-43c (check my sys specs for what I have mine clocked at). I would recommend getting some heatsinks for the vrm's for your video card as the ones that come with the accelero don't fit on them.

My old GT with the S1 and a ghetto mounted fan went all the way up to 810 core at one point. You'll 100% get better clocks out of it

As for the HSF - go for the freezer if you want cheap and cheerful - if you want THE best air cooling on the market, go for the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 or S1284. Try and get the crossbow bracket too, it totally rapes the push pins in terms of ease of install.

Did you volt mod your 8800gt to reach those speeds?!

And I don't think that they have a bracket for AMD systems do they? If you know of one can you give me a link?
