Too bad the we still support PPU with this driver is just as much BS as the last couple drivers. Install these and guess what, Mirror's Edge stutters with my two 4870x2's and BFG PPU card. Uninstall and go back to earlier drivers and Mirror's Edge is silky smooth.

Nvidia needs to either FO or start stating we no longer support PPU, go buy a new GPU to do physx on.

Cryostasis? I just got home from my friends house, shes got a 8600GT and HD 4870 so we were playing it and it's pretty cool. The water looks and feels like mercury but other than that it's a pretty shweet game.

But yes, the title support is seriously lacking. Hopefully with OpenCL and DX11 we can rid of brand related GPGPU acceleration.

Slapped the Cryostasis demo on a q9550 with a 512mb 4870 mild o.c and noticed that the whole intro was about 8 frames a second, and the rain didnt even look like rain. Maybe i should have slapped in the P1 card too, but then i realized that the super old G80 would run it better without the P1 card, so i tried, and it did. Maybe the issue is with the 4870, maybe it cant fly ma!

My Asus Agiea P1 has always hated the installation process of the drivers, and personally i think that they should make proper installing drivers. Whats the hold up anyways, why do i always have to install old drivers and then the new ones ? Is there THAT much of a difference ? Is it because of the GPU enabled PhysX ?

i agree, in very much teh same way dx10.1 is the responsibility of game developers and not microsoft. though i do wish they went dx10.1 . Well i've never played a game with physics so i won't miss much

I was using this on Win 7 playing Mirror's Edge last night. The difference between physx on and off is amazing, brings life to the game!
