Cannot install drivers for my RMA GTX 260 Card....plz help

Hi this is my first post to this forum....

I have just received my RMA replacement product (GTX 260 in exchange of the the Ultra 8800), However whenever I try to install the latest drivers I get the below massage:

I tried playing MS Flight Simulator X and the game crashed and restarted with a blue screen indicated a driver error (I managed to manually force the drivers installation through "Have Disk option" in the drivers installation process)

This is a screenshot of the GPUz:

What do you suggest, please help...

Did it give you that message by trying to update/install your drives with device manager, or did you actually download them from nvidias website?

I have downloaded the drivers directly from NVIDIA and tried to install them but with no use, what do u guys think about the reading of the BIOS, as I think the card BIOS has been modified, so EVGA sent me a card that its BIOS is modified and cannot be recognized by the drivers.... can you confirm that!!

I need to know why I don't have all the values reported in GPUz, and what about the card BIOS!

I believe certain values of GPUz rely on the drivers being installed, but I could be wrong.

The best option is to make sure you are installing the correct drivers, and try running driver sweeper to get rid of any of the old drivers that might still be hanging around.

These are the exact drivers you should be trying to install.

You might also try these betas.

Davaid did you ever find a fix for this problem?

I also got an RMA 260GTX from EVGA and it has the same problem. I have forced the drivers on but the Nvidia system information says the card is a GT200 rather than a GTX260.
