System Specs

speedfan readouts

speedfan v4.38 shows CPU temp as 34 degrees on full load but cores as 61/56/58/57. why the huge discrepancy and which number should i really be paying attention too?

you should pay attention on the cores. I also get the same reading as yours much higher on cores than CPU Temp.

use Realtemp to get temps on the intel procs. I usually find they are within reason of my DFI's mobo utility, which I know both the ASUS ans GB boards have. Id say stick to the mobo app for other temps and use realtemp for CPU measurement.
