FSX frame rate problem

Hi all,

I have a problem with a couple of planes, concorde and the TU-160, when I power up the after burners and I am on a external view it kills my FPS, when I power down the FPS come back to what I usually get. Im sure this never used to happen? Has anyone ever come across this?

I have just wiped my laptop and reinstalled everything, I have the most recent driver for my onboard nvidia card if that helps?

Thanks
