I didn't think I could go sli as cheap and do it right. I wanna do 3D Glasses w/ syncmaster 120hz mon and like 780i mobo with 2x gtx 260 or so but I wanna max out the rest of my system on crossfire during the next year to year and a half first. From what I understand the nvidia boards don't o.c. as well unless you have a really good one unlike the 790 chipset. Plus the 48xx series are kickin azz in Crossfire x2 and spanking the gtx's. And I think it will be cool to have a "Dragon" Platform. Waaaaaaaaay better than a "PS3" or "360" Platform, Ha!

Hey, is it worth it to get a vga cooler like a zalman for $35 or are the stock coolers on the 4850 or 4870's that vent air out good enough?

What is a good/cheap sli board? Or is there such a thing? I really try to buy reliable products but if it's cheap enough I will experiment. I still think the 4850's in 2x Crossfire will scale like a big dog as I have seen in reviews.

P.S. What about getting a good vga cooler for the 9600gt and o.c. the crap out of it? Is it worth it? $35 for a zalman.

We'll see.

As it stands the new Saphire Vapor X HD4850s look very nice. 2 in X fire would be a sweet set up.

I have a Zalman VF900 and a Acellero Twin Turbo.

The Twin Turbo is way better and can be had for less money.

It would be better to get a the new Sapphire with the Vapor X cooling for a new HD4850.

I was just looking at the Accelero Twin Turbo vs Zalman! Thanks because now I will get a twin turbo and it is interchangable from 9600gt to 4850 for when I upgrade.
