ATI x800 pro choices help?
I have a 9800se which i bought from new egg for about 110$ and it softmodded without problems, but now with games like CS:source and COD: united offensive my framerates are less than desireable, I have done some small tweaking of the card like texture quality is on high performance instead of quality and still not much help. So im looking at buying a x800 pro vivo to flash to XT PE and i was wondering which brand would be a good buy for $ and for performance? Any suggestions?
p.s. if you have any other performance tweaks for my 9800se@pro let me know Thanks in advance, Webchief |

If you can still get a VIVO, the brand doesn't seem to matter. The success rates are very good. I've got a successfully-modded Powercolor X800 Pro VIVO, others have Sapphires, Connect3Ds, etc. Since companys started offering the X800 XT, I think the VIVO supply has decreased.
