Resin

Hopefully this is in the right section (cases, Modding, & electronics)

I'm restoring my circa 2000 water cooled server case to new life slowly but surely just for the general enjoyment of it and have been trying out a lot of new things. So far I've custombuilt a pretty sweet resovoir, used some home depot steel mesh to make grills, and experimented (sucessfully!) with bondo.

What i want to know is has anyone used clear casting polymer in any of their builds?

if you have, how hard was it to work with, what were the limits of the shapes you could get with it, and most importantly, when cast will it be water tight?

anybody with any experiance or has seen this, with the clear stuff that is, please reply or message.

Thanks!

I would be trying out Bit-tech.net for this question...

I have worked with quite a few types of resins.

Please post some picts of what you have done and plan to do to your comp.

The main problem I have with the resins is they take so much time to cure (I am very impatient)

If you have any questions just ask
