Antec Nine Hundred Case does the Job!!

Just converted over to a Antec Nine Hundred Case. Was running a Q6600 for 4 months stabile at 3.6Ghz. I felt confident I come squeeze 3.8Ghz out of the Q6600. I needed better cooling anyway as i purchased an Asus 4890 Tweak two weeka ago. Running the Asus at 1Ghz core and 1150 (4600) memory. Well, after utilizing the new case I am now at 3.815Ghz. 1700 FSB. Q6600 Core = 1.4625V

Wow Cool Mike you must be sooooo happy to plug a case that has a very minor effect on your temperatures Happy you like the 900, but I am disappointed that it wasn't in a decent format or expressed in at least 200 words.

ouch

Glad you like the 900. Was tempted to buy one myself once but decided to go with an antec solo instead.

Be nice or just don't bother posting. Obviously it had a effect on his temps.

Read many reviews and forums before purchasing the case. I could not hit 3.8Ghz stable with the case that is currently out on my deck in the rain. Been at 3.815 all day. played C. warhead and farcry2 1.5 hours each with no problems. Well enough said. Have a good night.
Happy Overclocking.

Before and after proof please? Otherwise this is just a testimonial without fact. Was it the increased air flow? It was probably better air flow that made such a difference. Hell we don't even know what case he had before. Minor details about why he's posting and little bits of information with a big message that reads: It was the Antec 900 that did it all! What was it all exactly? Are you only using motherboard temperature sensors? Could you at least take a screenshot of your realtemp? I'm not so mean when it comes to people who give a lot of interesting/useful information.

I swear if I end up getting the case model that he had that made his temps 4C higher than they are now with the 900 then I'm sueing you erocker

Things would go much faster/better if you ask him directly. Give the guy a break, very few live up to the expectations of your tech forum posting specifications.

A bit harsh there, Binge, not like you??

The A900 does in fact have excellent Air, it doesn't have great cable management but who cares, that can be fixed with a dermal and 15 minutes.

For reference, I own a A900 and A300, both are very nice but the 900 is the winner of the two for not only cooling but looks as well.

I'm sorry guys I'm in rare form tonight. I'm actually happy to see more subjects posted on the forums no matter how loose the topic matter. For once this isn't a HELP ME thread either.

More and Better air-flow was key. All the hardware was pulled from a Thermaltake - Soprano Mid-Tower Case. It had one 120mm front and 120mm rear that all. You all know what the 900 has. As far as screen shots. I have attemped to attach a current cpu-z. Sorry I its not available on this first try.

I really like my Antec 900. I prefer the looks of the 900 because of the angle at the top whereas the 902/1200 are flat. The 900 is cheaper than the other two and all it takes is a bit of work to make them similar, painting the inside of the case doesn't sound too hard, and if you want fan controllers on the front just mod the hard-drive cage in the corner by cutting a very small bit off the corner and put the speed control in the gap, simple. I'd do that but I'll be getting faster & quieter fans.

Overall, really nice case, anyone thinking about getting one should consider a modular PSU or doing a bit of modding though.

I've had an Antec 900 for a little over 5 months. After seeing it at Fry's i was so impressed with its design it sold itself.

Great air cooling case.
