Best Time/Place To Buy New Screen?

I want to get a nice 32" TV (must be flat panel, LCD, no plasma).

I have some questions though:
1) Where's a good place to look for a cheap one around $320 or less? I use techbargains.com and slickdeals.net are what I usually look at.
2) When is Black Friday? Soon? Because if so I'll wait until then to see if I can get a good deal.
3) What's a good brand? I am looking mainly at Westinghouses because the refurbs are cheap and from what I've heard they are also good qualty.

Ok first off, for $330 shipped you can get a 27.5" 1900*1200 Hann'-G monitor from the egg:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824254026

I check Slickdeals.net but only for uber deals. Newegg always has the best all around deals. Maybe woot if you catch something local.

Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving so your only six months away. Time to save up for a 50" LCD by then.

And finally Westinghouses are ok-low grade. They are the Vizio competitor and really dont use the quality of panels like Samsung. Hanns-G are very good and so are Asus and some select Dell monitors.

If you strictly want LCD TV's then Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba, and LG lead the market.

But Samsung, Panasonic, etc. all are also $400+, which is money I'm not willing to spend on a new screen.

And yes I am looking for an LCD, not a computer monitor. If I get a 1900x1200 monitor, my 4850 isn't going to be able to handle it. Not to mention 32" is significantly larger than 27".

Black friday is the day after thanksgiving in November, so quite a ways off. You can't really get a good LCD HDTV for $300. You just can't. If you want to get a refurbbed Westinghouse or Vizio by all means that's your peroggative, it may look ok to you so long as you aren't picky and may last for a good while if you get a good one. You'll have to hunt around for things like that, you can try costco, they have some cheap tvs sometimes. Wal-mart too. Internet will be impractical unless you nab free shipping.

Most places do free shipping anyway, so I think it'd be fair. I'm okay with a refurb, just as long as nothing effects my gameplay and such. I've seen some Westinghouse refurbs for as low as $280. I think I'll read on some reviews too before I make any decisions.

And it's not really the HD aspect I'm looking for. I just want a larger screen, mainly for more immersion, you know. 19 inches just doesn't cut it for playing games.

Not very far, maybe 2 feet or so.

$359 is a good price for a Panasonic. I'd be willing to spend a little extra to get a Panasonic - never had any bad experiences with them.
