Announcement: GameTap Partners With Microsoft Game Studios ATLANTA – May 7, 2009 – GameTap is pleased to announce a new content partnership with Microsoft Game Studios that grants U.S. and European subscription play rights for many of the publisher’s legendary PC games for Windows.

As part of this arrangement, GameTap subscribers will have access to a selection of beloved classics from Microsoft such as Age of Mythology, Age of Empires 2, Rise of Nations, Freelancer, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Mech Warrior 4: Mercenaries and the Zoo Tycoon series.

“We’re thrilled to add to the library of great PC games on the new GameTap through this partnership with Microsoft Games,” said Pierre Forest, VP of Content. “These games have proven to be some of the most played games in our catalogues in Europe, and we expect they will have the same success in the US.”
