I didn't know ripping a movie was illegal if you have a legitimately purchased program, paid for the disc, and are not distributing it. I don't know, people are so touchy about this kind of stuff.

Yeah these are my thoughts exactly, but I don't want to cause any trouble so if you want to close this thread please do so. I was just asking this for a friend I personally don't rip or burn movies.
