ASROCK Dual bios & Opteron

I've been looking into replacing my motherboard for an asrock dual and getting an opteron 144 939 socket to go in it. Something that I know many people have done successfully.

However, from what I understand the asrock mobo only supports opterons from bios 1.4 onwards.

Is the mobo now supplied with that bios? and if not how are you supposed to flash a new bios onto it without the use of your CPU???

No, I don't have a spare 939 CPU as I'll be migrating from a socket 478 P4.

Also the info on the asrock website states that it supports 939 semprons, anyone seen one or got any info on them? I've searched for them and no seems to sell them, if they were cheap enough it might be worth buying one to flash the board for the opteron and then ebay it (after seeing how far it clocks and benches of course).

Customers ASRock Dual SATA 939 that came to me over 2 months ago had the 1.4 bios already In It.....Got It from NewEgg.....So I'm fairly sure any one ordered now will come with 1.4 or newer.
